The greatest rider in BMX racing? For sure a great athlete to work with; Niek Kimmann won no fewer than two Junior World Titles and three Elite World Titles, but he achieved his biggest success at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021: the gold medal! His impressive list of titles also includes numerous National and European Championship Titles and World Cup wins.

The man who was there when medals could be won, Jelle van Gorkom had a wonderful career, culminating in the Silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. Unfortunately, his athlete career came to an early end, but he can still call himself a great ambassador of the BMX sport.

With many World Cup winnings under her belt, Laura Smulders is truly one of the greatest riders of our sport. With two World Titles, four European Titles and a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics she should not be missing from our list.

The younger sister of Laura, Merel Smulders, has also been in the spotlight for years now and will be for the next couple of years. With a Juniors World Time Trial and European Juniors Championship Title and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics she earned her spot.

From the land of legendary BMX racers (Latvia) is Veronika Sturiska. On a Meybo in 2023 she took her first world title in the women’s-junior category in Glasgow. Besides this great accomplishment, Veronika also is a regular for the top spot at the World Cups.
